Meet Jana...Blog of the Week Winner!

Blog of the week is back! YAY! And I'm excited to announce that one of my longest readers is this weeks winner!  Please welcome Jana from Everyday is your Runway!  So let me introduce  you to her!

Me:  What made you start blogging?
Jana:  I started blogging because people told me they liked my style.  I asked my friends on Facebook if they'd read a blog I wrote about fashion...and a star was born.  I truly wanted an outlet to write about something I feel passionate about. I REALLY LOVE CLOTHES!

Me:  Do you have any animals/pets?
Jana:  We don't have any inside pets because of my allergies, but if I wasn't allergic we'd probably have cats and cute small dogs.  I would DIE of happiness to have another toy poodle!

Me:  What is your favorite way to pass time?
Jana:  I think it depends on my frame of mind.  You'll often find me watching television, crafting, blogging, browsing Pinterest, thrifting and spending time with family and friends. I am definitely someone who enjoys quality time with people I care about.  

Me:  If you could pick one place in the world to visit, where would you go an why?
Jana:   Okay...I'm a geek.  One of my bucket list items is to go to Comic-Con.  My husband and I were foing to go for our honeymoon but the tickets sold out so fast, we didn't get to go.  Once of these days...one of these days.  You see, Doctor who would choose us as his next companions.  (Please tell me there are some Whovians reading?
Me:  Um...I have to admit...I'm totally LOST...LOL!

Me:  What is your "Fashion" style?
Jana:  Gosh, if I could explain it in a couple words, I would. My closet has been described as a costume wardrobe. I like clothing from all decades spanning the 1950's through present day. I have chiffon, glitter, silk, plaid, lace,denim, and I'm crazy about vintage. I feel like that's such a cop-out answer but I seriously just love clothes. I like classic and bold. I like statement making and comfortable. You can never go wrong with sequins! Even as a first grade teacher.


Me:  What do you like to do on a rainy/cold day?
Jana:   Stay in my bed if possible. Cold and rainy weather makes me really appreciate sunshiny days. Reeeeally appreciate them. Rainy/Cold weather is just not my bag. 

Me:  What is your top blogging goal for 2013?
Jana:  I'd like to keep growing and sharing. I want my blog be a place where people feel at home and see the love of Jesus while I share some outfits and life. 

Me:   What kind of music do you listen to?
Jana:  The presets in my car are Christian contemporary, Hits of the 80s, 90s, and today, Classical, and local pop. The only music that gets less attention is country music. I've been on an "oldies" kick lately- Sonny & Cher, The Mamas & The Papas, The Temptations. I like The White Stripes, The Beatles, and Relient K. It's an eclectic mix for an eclectic gal.
