Please welcome my newest Blog of the Week Erica! She blogs over at I'm Being Erica and she is adorably sweet! So...without further ado...lets get to know her a bit!
Me: Where were you born and where do you live now?
Erica: I was born and bred in small-town South Australia, but I now live in big bad London Town! I left home when I was 21, I'm now 28 and have not been 'home' since (except for holidays!)... London IS home now!
Me: What is your favorite meal?
Erica: That is such a hard question to answer! I just love food. I love to cook too, but probably the dish I could eat for the rest of my life would be my vegetarian nachos (here's my recipe! http://www.imbeingerica.com/2013/01/thats-nacho-cheese.html).. yum!
Me: YUM IS RIGHT!
Me: What is your favorite item of clothing (can be a bag or shoes)?
Erica: I own so many clothes. I think my favourite thing would be my polka dot points from TopShop - they've got a giant felt love heart on top of them. OH, and my mint scalloped handbag from ASOS. love them both equally.
Me: What are you most likely to be doing on a Sunday morning?
Erica: Sunday mornings host my regular Skype Dates with my Mum in Australia. we try to talk every Sunday morning (she talks, I listen and snooze), although some weeks other things come up. for the most part, I'm sat in my bed with a cup of tea and some toast while she babbles on about her week.
Me: I LOVE video chatting with my Momma!
Me: What is the farthest you've traveled from home?
Erica: Here! I'm literally on the other side of the world now... it's pretty far!
Me: I didn't think about that...you ARE on the other side of the world!
Me: What is your favorite pass time?
Erica: Blogging and reading. no, duh, shopping!
Me: Why did you start blogging?
Erica: Because I love to write and my friends on facebook were sick of seeing all of my outfit posts and rambling thoughts... so now I've contained them, and people who want to read them, can (I hope you will!)
Me: ABSOLUTELY!
Me: Who inspires you...and why?
Erica: Woooooow, such a hard question. a lot of people do, in one way or another. my friends inspire me to be a good friend. my boyfriend inspires me to be a better girlfriend. my managers inspire me to work harder. my readers inspire me to be funnier or write more interesting content. my family inspire me to be me.
Me: Great answer!
Me: What is the most "random" thing you've ever done?
Erica: The day I decided to leave home. I went into work and asked my manager if I could get a transfer to New Zealand. she told me to call their head office and ask. I did. I got the job. a month later, I moved to New Zealand.... #random!
Me: What is your biggest goal in life?
Erica: To be happy with my lot. I'm slowly getting there.
