Oh those "words of wisdom"...
I remember when I was growing up I used to roll my eyes at my "elders" when they'd give me their "Words of Wisdom"! I used to think...."Gosh..you have no clue how I feel...you are old!" (lol...) But, as I have grown up...I have learned to appreciate those words of wisdom...
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” - Eleanor Roosevelt
“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” - Aristotle
“Whether you live to be 50 or 100 makes no difference, if you made no difference in the world.”
- Jarod Kintz
"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are." - John Wooden
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.
"Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck."- Dali Lama
"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."- Mother Theresa
"A person's worth is contingent upon who he is, not upon what he does, or how much he has. The worth of a person, or a thing, or an idea, is in being, not in doing, not in having." - Alice Mary Hilton
"Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission." - Eleanor Roosevelt
"With faith, there are no questions; without faith there are no answers."
I heard this one A LOT! "When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt
People will forget what you said, people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
"Real courage is when you know you’re licked before you begin, but you begin anyway." - Harper Lee
"Keep in mind that the essence of your prayers is the faith you have in them that they will be answered."
"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different." - Coco Chanel
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." - Leo Buscaglia
"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." - Scott Adams
